We are engaged in a spiritual battle and we need to be equipped. God has not left us defenseless nor in the dark about the armor we need. One of the most vital pieces of this armor is the sword of the Spirit; the very word of God itself. It can be used to defend, and it can be used to gain ground. The most effective use of this sword develops with practice. Let us keep our sword sharpened and at our side at all times.
