In Acts 13, we have an account of the ministry in the church at Antioch, including Paul and Barnabas and their call of the Holy Spirit. These men seemed to have had a broad spectrum of backgrounds, which is a good indication of the mixture of individuals in the church itself. You might say, we have a microcosm of the church at large, and a picture of what the church should look like in every age. This is especially true considering the evangelistic zeal of this church.
