In Hebrews 11, we learn that the parents of Moses overcame fear by faith. We also learn that Moses, by faith, was able to overcome the temptation to pursue the pleasures of sin, which only last for a season. The amazing thing is, you and I have the same faith today, thousands of years later. We are a part of the same grand story with these Old Testament saints; the unfolding of the will of God. And the common thread we share is a God-given faith that allows us to overcome fear, temptation, suffering, affliction, and every other challenge and obstacle that comes our way.
