Suffering for the sake of righteousness has characterized the Lord’s people since the beginning of time. Scripture tells us we can expect it, and we can expect it more as evil men wax worse and worse. How do we prepare ourselves? Peter spent most of his First Epistle encouraging and instructing those who were suffering for the sake of Christ. We would do well to learn from his inspired writing.
