Have you ever noticed how most of Acts Chapter 10 doesn’t line up with the thinking of modern Christianity? For example, God first went to the man (Cornelius), who demonstrated many evidences of being already born again, but who still needed to hear the gospel, and instructed him to send for the gospel minister, who himself needed to be converted before going to preach to a house full of people eagerly anticipating hearing a word from God, a people with whom the preacher never would have associated otherwise, and a people who didn’t have a clue what they needed to hear! How does that fit today’s modern Christian teachings?
